I am constantly evolving as an artist, creating new ideas and learning new skills to express my thoughts.
For people to understand and enjoy my work is, by far, plays an important part for my inspiration to create.

THE ABSTRACT
I am an artist inspired by landscape, the quiet power of post-industrial decay and urban decline. My work explores abandoned structures be it industrial or domestic and the creeping reclamation of nature taking back control.
I am drawn to the discarded and the lives that once filled these spaces- the workers, their history and the communities that surrounded them.
Through physical sculpture, I try to capture the tension between human-made structures and natures persistence. I work with a mixture of materials, concrete, metal and wood in which I try to evoke age, erosion and the passage of time through an abstract style. What once was.
My pieces are tangible narratives about impermanence: nothing lasts forever, yet memories and histories endure in the decay. Places for ghosts.
Also modern architecture and nature play an important part in my work, juxtaposed with asymmetrical and geometrical shapes. Comparing rigid, mathematical forms with organic elements highlighting the relationship between structure and nature.
I work full time from my converted garage, Studio46, in Hertfordshire, UK. A place where I am able to create my ideas and express my thoughts for those who appreciate my work.
